THE MOST REWARDING OF ALL

I have seen many, many, many changes in the organisation over the 40+ years I spent here. Structures, work practices, personnel, buildings and equipment. They may not have been as swift as the changes we have had to make in Q1 2020, but some were equally as radical. Where’s the typing pool gone??!!

Of the many awards received over the years, from PPI Radio awards including National Station of the Year, and twice winning Music Station of the Year, Station Sound, Best Overall Station of the Year, New York Festivals awards, Prix Italia awards, etc. - nothing was as rewarding as the interactions with the people I met in my travels, at work and at play, with perhaps the most food for the soul coming from my interactions with family, friends and music.
